Can a simple card actually help solve such complex life events? Sometimes they can. Power Love Cards™ provide one extra service to those who see you. In addition, they can provide extra funds to support special employee, client, or business needs you may choose.
We recommend ordering a set of at least the following cards: New Life, Respect My Limits, Mother Please Listen to Me, Save The Life, For Baby, and On My Birth Day. You may select any four of those to use in a smaller four-card display. Or you can use all six cards and add one or two more from the full list of Power Love Cards™ with an eight-card display. If your available space design is better served, you may also want to consider two four-card displays.

How often does a teen come in too scared to tell her parents she is pregnant, but would like to keep the baby?
Family Planning Service providers, pregnancy service providers, educators, and others have all seen instances where, once a teen does tell her parents, they surprise her by being supportive and loving! Certainly not every time, but often enough to consider suggesting communciation.
But how can a pregnant teen tell her parents?
Sometimes, a Power Love Card™ really can help! The New Life card may be given to her parents as the girl sits there, scared and waiting.Read the card.So many parents will show the side of themselves parents should show: Love for their daughter, support for the pregnancy.
It may not be wise to take away this option for the teen if a simple card can help! This is a powerful card. It is worth carrying the Power Love Card™ line just for this one card!
But shouldn't we all be counseling teens to avoid future pregnancies?
Too often, it is simply for lack of a "No" at the right time that a pregnancy could have been prevented.
We are certainly not suggesting that a simple card can always do that. But it might help! Take a look at the Respect My Limits card. This card may be helpful in truly communicating what must be said. And, read it again. Might it also be helpful for some adults?
Too many times, teens are thrown into the arms of someone who they think cares about them in part because it has become so hard to communicate at home. Many teens and parents have lost the supportive communication so necessary to help parents help their children. Sometimes a card may help. Take a look at Mother, Please Listen to Me!
Have you had a teen boy, or an older man, come in and express concern about a pregnancy they fear will end as they might not wish? Certainly, many have felt that way. How do you counsel them? Simply that the decision rests with the girl or woman? Is that really enough? What can one say to this person who feels so strongly?
Give them a tool that might help. Be sure the communication stays open and the right decision is made. The Save The Life card expresses what many would-be fathers would say in the privacy of the relationship. Even if they do not get the response they would like, they will feel better knowing that what they wanted to say was said.
And, if a baby is in the future, take a look at one of the only cards made to be given to someone who can't yet read! Look at For Baby! What a wonderful way to express the unfathomable love of a parent to their new child!
Last, do not forget the best birthday card in the world. On YOUR birthday, give On My Birth Day to your mother! Nothing says love better!
